Shopping My Stash : Makeup Edition Week #3

Since I've started a low-buy, it is  important for me to use the products I have in my current makeup collection. If you would like, check out my last shopping my stash post.   I love the idea of going through my makeup and rediscovering some new loves. This week I will be using the following products for makeup:

1. MAC Temperature Rising Quad in Bare My Soul: I love all of the shades, but the green copper shade(When in Rio) is my favorite. It looks stunning on all eye colors especially blue.

2. Missha Perfect Cover BB Cream Light Beige(N.21): I'm trying to use this one up. I do like the formula and coverage. However, there are a few questionable ingredients like parabens that I try to avoid if possible.

3. Laura Mercier Smooth Finish Foundation Powder:  A recent purchase for me, and I love the coverage. It works well with BB cream, as it provides a little extra coverage than a setting powder.

4. MUFE Aqua Eyes in Forest Green 20 L:  Purchased last year in a gift set, this one looks great with Bare My Soul Quad

5. Elizabeth Arden Cream Blush in Honey: Such a beautiful shade for fall.

6. Urban Decay Anti-Aging Eye Shadow Primer: I received a sample in a current order and used once and was not impressed. I'm going to give it a second chance and see how it works out.

7. Givenchy Le Rouge in 103 Brun: A VIB perk that's been added to an overflowing lipstick box. I'll get this one out to wear this week.

8. Marc Jacobs Dot Fragrance sample: I have so many little sample vials that I need to use up... this week it will be this one.

Are you shopping your stash too? Let me know in the comments.

  1. Yaaay!!!! I see your bloglovin now!! :-) Um…not shopping my stash so much as just…uh…shopping??? yes. that's been me. I'm not going to lie LOL!! But in my defense I keep culling my collection to see what I don't love anymore and why and if it needs to be purged or not. And I've been very good about not adding much to the sample stash!!! It's stayed relatively the same since the end of #octobersampler. I have received samples, but most of those have gone directly to the giveaway ziplock bag!!! But excellent job on shopping your stash…I'm taking notes!!

  2. I go through stages of shopping and stopping! Lol I think it's great that you are able to purge and then keep what you like/us. Plus you inspired me with October sampler. You are doing excellent. I'm of the mindset enjoy shopping and using what you have. To me, it's about balance and preferences. I try to blogsale and give away periodically because I know I like new things. Thanks for reading and commenting.
